Apart from the title, you can probably tell by the letters where we are :)
Seeing as I'm a massive history fan, I was able to point out who all of the monarch were. No joke, there was about 100 portraits of Queen Elizabeth I. There was also a few of Henry VIII and I came across one of Anne Boleyn. For those who don't know, Anne Boleyn was Henry VIII's second wife, who was also Queen Elizabeth I's mother and she was eventually beheaded in the Tower of London.
This is the picture of Anne Boleyn on display at the Gallery. It isn't considered, a likeness as it was painted in the early 1600s when Anne was beheaded in 1536.
We admired all of the art. There was such a large collection to see! From royalty to movie stars. Inventors, events in history and much more. Then we came across my ultimate desire! We found Kate Middleton's portrait.
I went forward and touched it as if she was right before me. It was so gorgeous to see it, much better than how they make it look on TV.
After a wonderful day at the Gallery, we headed to the gift shop and bought tons of souvenirs. I also bought postcards. There was postcards of almost every work of art. I bought 1 of Anne Boleyn, 1 of the Queen, 1 of Charles and Diana, 1 of Elizabeth I and more postcards. However I also as you probably guessed, I bought one of Kate's portrait. I now have most of my postcards on my fridge, the rest are around my house.

Then after the gallery, my girl and I set off into Trafalgar Square and started to climb onto Nelson's Column. I thought it was hard at first, but I will get used to climbing up eventually. Here are some pictures from the time at the Square.
The next picture was probably my favourite from the day. As you can tell, I love Westminster and I love the whole area. Well my favourite spot is Big Ben and when I was sitting on the Lion, (I do have a picture of me on the Lion but it won't upload) I took a picture of the view. I love my amazing photography so much!
At 5pm, after a lovely day out and catching a Starbucks, we then walked to Westminster tube station. Even though I live just about fifteen minutes away, I caught the tube anyway. I loved my day out with Jen and I will treasure my photography forever!
