Today, I started my new job as Head of Design at Topshop! I walked from my house to work at 8am. It was just at sunrise, so the streetlamps were still on.
When I started I was greeted by my new boss and I have my own office! It was perfect and I love it. My first day was amazing! It didn't disappoint me. Sausage dogs in the office, popcorn Wednesdays, drinks on Fridays! And what's more, I've already made new friends.
And most of the people I'm friends with are on the design team so I can see them almost everyday. According to my new friend Jennifer, the Topshop Christmas parties are the best you could go to. So I'm looking forward to December now.

And one of the great things about my job, is if I was to be asked 3 years ago when I was at uni, what I think I would be doing, I never would have guessed this. Topshop is where I've always dreamed of working and I never would have thought I would be head of all of the company's designs!
However, one of the bad things about working as Head of Design, as I get up so early and have to leave the flat at 8am on the dot, I don't get time for breakfast. So this morning, I was sitting at my desk, all professional with my breakfast sitting for me.
